Our Exceptional Student Education program is for students who currently or have been issued an IEP (Individualized Education Plan), 504 plan, or diagnosed learning disability from a qualified program. These students are accepted into our school on a case by case basis, once a meeting has been conducted with the parents, administration, and ESE Teacher. The students who are accepted into our school that have any needs for academic accommodations are placed with in their grade level class, with full inclusion, and monitored by our ESE Teacher and grade level teacher, to ensure the student is receiving the accommodations they need to succeed in the classroom. We partner with the Citrus County School District to provide speech and language therapy to those who have an IEP for speech or language. Any student requiring accommodations will be accommodated to the best of our school’s ability and resources.
